Its correct
This app is good for quick numbers. Does need to integrate US pounds as well as kg. Easy to convert but not too difficult to add.
Physician
No limits so morbidly obese patients will get massive loading doses. Not everything is weight based or a drip such as an amiodarone SIV push in persisting v-tach. I feel this program may be dangerous in the hands of inexperienced practitioners. Also needs pressors and analgesia drips. Great idea but needs updates.
MD
While technically accurate, this app is exceptionally limited. Should include additional drugs and peds dosing for cardioversion/defib. Could also include wt based ET tube size, although this is very peds specific. Considering the paucity of information given, this app should be free.
If......
If it only calculated drips as well, plus had a few more meeds. It would be excellent for the speed of of iPad to display results.
